3.5* read.

My first book by this author and I will start by saying I LOVE the cover to this book. I don't know why maybe its the tattooed arm porn but I would pick up this book just because of the cover and its unique style.

I will keep my review quite short and not to detailed as I really feel I need to re-read the book in a few weeks and see if I still feel the same.

My main problem was my connection to the characters, especially Alex. I don't know why I just couldn't connect to them and I know I'm minority as there is a lot of 4/5 star ratings out there. I enjoyed the story, it was well wrote and the drama side of it was great, it was just the character connection that I had a problem with and what lowered my rating mark. I will go back and re-read it at some point as there is so many reviews I've read that rave about the characters so maybe it was just me having a off day.

Definatly worth a read and I will be reading more from this author.

Delaney Foster is a Louisiana native, not far from New Orleans, where eating, drinking, and dancing are pretty much a requirement for citizenship. She loves all things romance, a good glass of wine, and Saturdays at the baseball park. She definitely believes leggings are pants and is a bit of a book whore.
