This is book 3 in this spin off series and can be read as a standalone although the books do overlap in the fact that you see past characters, and so to get the full understanding of this book I would read the others first.
I love the fact that we're getting the childrens stories from characters we have previously read and fell in love with in the Ravage MC series.
If you've read the previous books in this series then you'll have already met Austyn in the previous books briefly and know some of her story. If you haven't that doesn't matter as you get all the details in this book anyways. Whilst she's dealing with all this and trying to overcome her past Ryker decides to be the one to protect her. She does try to push him away but to Ryker's credit he never gives up.
This wasn't my favourite book in this series but it was still a great addition and an enjoyable read, I can't wait for more.
