This
was more then a 5* star read for me, it blew me away and hit so many emotions. I'm
afraid to say that Bella Jewel is a new author to me, I'd heard of her before
just never got round to buying or reading any of her books but after this book I
bought and started reading her MC books too and am loving them.
Flawed
Heart is told in flash backs which was new to me I've never read a story where it keeps changing from present to past. At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it but you needed
the flash backs to see their story been told properly and its what made this
book so much more emotional and gripping.
I don't want to
give to much away as it'll spoil it for the reader so I wont tell you their
secrets but Belle and Max met in college and went on to get married, something
happened and Belle went away for 5 years and this is their story about
what happened and how their pasts affect their present.
Max
is the owner of the House of Obsidian and is a dark dangerous and powerful man
who runs a underground fighting ring which he also partakes in. Even though he has
this dark side because of what happened in his past, he also has this possessive alpha
feeling towards Belle and I do love a alpha bad boy.
Belle
has been away for 5 years but returned as her mum is dying, she has a big secret
though and doesn't know how to tell Max after all these years. Struggling with
everything can Belle tell Max the truth and when she does will he be there for
her?
Sometimes you come across a book that just
captures your heart, whether its personal to you or just the brilliant writing
of the author there's a time when this happens and this for me was one of those
books. I was up till 4 in the morning finishing it and after the little teaser
at the end I cant wait for Raide's book. Emotional gripping book that's a must
read for any reader out there who loves a good emotional and heart pulling
romance.
